Cookie Policy

Effective date: 20 March 2026
Last updated: 8 October 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Go Bespoke (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on gobespoke.co.uk (the “Site”), what they do, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.

We welcome visitors from around the world, so this policy is written to meet the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR, and other privacy laws that may apply to you, including US state privacy laws.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, tablet or phone when you visit a website. They let the website recognise your device and remember information, such as the items in your basket or your cookie choices.

  • Session cookies are temporary and are deleted when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies stay on your device until they expire or you delete them.
  • First-party cookies are set by our Site.
  • Third-party cookies are set by other companies whose services we use, such as Google or our payment providers.

Similar technologies, such as pixels, tags, scripts and local storage, work in a similar way. In this policy we call them all “cookies”.

2. The types of cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the Site to work, for example to keep items in your basket, let you check out securely, keep you logged in, protect against fraud and remember your cookie choices. They do not need your consent and cannot be switched off in our cookie settings.

Analytics cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors use the Site, such as which pages are popular and how people find us, so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit) and Jetpack Stats. They are only used if you consent.

Advertising and marketing cookies

These cookies may be used to measure the success of our advertising and to show you relevant adverts on other websites and platforms, such as Google, Pinterest, TikTok, Snapchat and Reddit. They are only used if you consent, and only where we have these tools switched on.

Embedded content

Our pages include YouTube videos. These only load from YouTube when you press play, and we use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode where possible. Once a video plays, YouTube (Google) may set its own cookies.

4. Your choices and consent

  • Cookie banner: when you first visit the Site, our cookie banner lets you accept all cookies, keep only strictly necessary cookies, or choose a level in between. We do not set analytics or advertising cookies until you agree. Until then, Google tags run in Google’s restricted Consent Mode, which does not place cookies on your device.
  • Changing your mind: you can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page, or the cookie icon on the Site.
  • Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a refusal of advertising cookies and of any “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information, whatever you choose in the banner. Withdrawing consent does not affect cookies already used lawfully, but you can delete existing cookies in your browser.
  • Browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site, such as the basket and checkout, from working. Find out how in the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.
  • Google Analytics: you can also opt out of Google Analytics on all websites using Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
  • Interest-based advertising: you can find out more and manage advertising preferences at Your Online Choices (UK and EU) or the Digital Advertising Alliance (US).

5. Information for US visitors

Some advertising cookies may count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information under certain US state laws, such as California’s. You can opt out at any time by declining advertising cookies in our cookie banner or cookie settings, or by contacting us. See our Privacy Policy for more about your rights.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add new services or the law changes. The latest version will always be on this page with the date it was last updated.
